Why Am I Here
Sometimes I feel trapped, like there's no way out
I'm surrounded by walls and people who want to impale me
I look around and there's no where to run
no escape and I’m the only one
I try to wake up, but this is no dream
I’m pulling at my hair and wanting to scream
With a spread of my legs, I’m now a mother of two
I try to think of happiness, but suddenly become blue
Into a corner I ball up and cry
Questioning my faith, I ask the Lord why
I look at my sons', Maurice and Mehki
now seeing my reason for being here:
To Love, Protect, and Guide
